The sunset of Rovinj when birds storm the city is an image I cannot forget and hence sharing with you!  In order to see the amount of the birds you need to zoom in! Imagine so many birds that the sky turns black!! well! to be fair, this picture shows the trail of the birds, and their flight path! So it is not as many birds as it seems, but still there were many birds! Believe me! 😀

This photo consists of 70 photos stacked in photoshop. The editing was more challenging than I expected due to the fact that while taking photo the camera moved slightly and this way I had to mask each individual photo, even after alignment! 

The location:
This photo is taken from our apartment’s balcony facing  the campanile of Saint Euphemia Church. THe most iconic landscape of Rovinj. Rovinj (Rovigno) is a city in Croatia situated on the north Adriatic Sea with a population of 14,294 (2011). Located on the western coast of the Istrian peninsula, it is a popular tourist resort and an active fishing port. Istriot, a Romance language once widely spoken in this part of Istria, is still spoken by some of the residents. The town is officially bilingual, Italian and Croatian, hence both town names are official and equal. (Wikipedia)
